I Am Ready for Change

    What is Salvation

Salvation is God's beautiful gift to us — the rescue of our soul from sin, shame, and eternal separation from Him. It’s not something we can earn; it’s something we humbly receive through faith in Jesus Christ.

    Romans 6:23 tells us,

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

From the beginning, God's desire has been relationship. But sin separated us from His presence. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, God made a way for us to be reconciled — completely forgiven, restored, and brought into His eternal family.

    Why is it Important

Salvation is important because it’s the only way to know God personally and experience the fullness of His love — both now and for eternity.

    John 14:6 says,

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

Without salvation, we remain spiritually lost, trying to fix ourselves or carry burdens we were never meant to bear. But with salvation, we are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17), filled with the Holy Spirit, and given access to God's peace, purpose, and power.

    Salvation Prayer

If you're ready to surrender your life to Jesus and receive His gift of salvation, you can pray this from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again so that I may have eternal life. Today, I repent and turn from my old ways. I invite You into my heart as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with Your Spirit, and help me live for You from this day forward. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

    Romans 10:9 says,

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

What to do after saying the Salvation prayer

Salvation is the beginning — not the end. Now begins a beautiful walk of faith and transformation. Here’s what to do next:

    1) Read God’s Word – Start with the Gospel of John to learn about Jesus’ life and love.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

    2) Pray Daily – Talk to God like a friend. He's listening and He cares.

    3) Find a Faith Community and a good bible based teaching church – Surround yourself with believers who will support and encourage your walk with God.
“Do not give up meeting together… but encourage one another.” – Hebrews 10:25

    4) Get Baptized – Baptism is an outward sign of the inward transformation that has taken place.

    5) Keep Saying Yes – Every day, surrender your heart to God’s leading and trust that He is working in and through you.

    Encouragement

If you’ve just made the decision to follow Jesus — welcome to the family of God. Heaven is rejoicing over you (Luke 15:7), and so are we!

Your past is not too dark. Your future is not too far. God is writing a new story with your life — full of purpose, healing, and grace. Even in moments of doubt or difficulty, He will never leave you.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

You are saved, loved, and never alone. Keep seeking Him — and watch your life transform, one step at a time.
